This is the beginning of a series of blogs that may reveal too much about me. So, be prepared.

New Research/Survey shows that men in their mid-40's go through a "Change".

The survey done by Jeep, reveals that 56% of men are likely to undergo a 'lifestyle overhaul' in their mid-forties.  We all call it a mid-life crisis. I call it anxiety.

Ok, a bit of background. I've been a happy-go-lucky, do-what-I-want kind of guy. Regardless of feelings and the "right" thing to do. It never even bothered me. Some would call it a horrible person, but I called it "living free". Now that I'm in my mid-40's, I look back and wonder what the "F" I was thinking. So, here comes the change!

Typically with a mid-life crisis it's looking forward and thinking, "Holy Crap! I don't have much time left!" With me it was looking back and thinking, "uh oh! That's not a good way to live!". So, I'm changing and I'm utilizing EVERY avenue I can.

One of the things that has popped up recently as I became more self-aware. I have an uncontrollable anxiety issue. I am anxious about EVERYTHING! I've found myself in an almost manic state most of the last few months. The reason for that is I'm VERY upset with myself and how I have lived my life and how many people I've hurt with my selfish ways. Yes, it's ok to be selfish with you and your time, but when it is at the cost of other people's feelings and emotions, it's not cool at all.

I also found that I'm certainly not alone. We all have struggles. We all have issues. We all aren't as happy on the outside as we are on the inside. It's funny when you get your trusting friends around you and you say, "I'm not well and I want to get better", how they react and respond with love and compassion. Don't throw that away.

If you're having issues with this or any other problem, you owe it to yourself to get help and to search out remedies to this. Yes, it's natural and yes it's ok to go through something of this sort, but you shouldn't do it alone. That wouldn't work well.

This is it for today. I am here for anyone that would like to chat or talk about what you have going on in your life.

In the next blog, I will be talking about specific issues I'm dealing with and why. YOU'RE not alone. Be brave.
