Positive Light Shed on Waterloo Officer’s Act of Kindness

Contrary to some negative publicity police officers are receiving these days, a Waterloo officer has been caught doing a random act of kindness.

A Waterloo resident sent (this) photo to Dan Trelka, the Director of Safety Services for the Waterloo Police Department.

The photo shows Officer Nick Weber, helping roll up the sleeves of a young man's shirt, which is notably too large for him.

Waterloo Mayor Buck Clark is encouraging residents to recognize this officer for his positive acts, as he says the photo is contrary to all the negative press police are getting these days; the picture is indeed worth a thousand words.
