Waterloo police have arrested four people on charges connected to a deadly shooting in the city earlier this summer.

Authorities took the following individuals into custody on Friday (Sept. 2, 2016): Jacques Williamson, 25; Armand Rollins, 17; Shavondes Martin, 20; and Doncorrion Spates, 15. According to police, the four are charged with first-degree murder, attempted murder and intimidation with a weapon.

The charges are connected to a July 17 shooting that left one person dead and two others injured. The incident occurred in the 800 block of Logan Ave.

Otavious Brown, Dewon Campbell and Aundrey Roberts were all wounded in the shooting. Police said Brown was shot once in the chest and later died at a Waterloo hospital. Campbell and Roberts were treated and released.

Brown's murder is the first in Waterloo this year. Although four people have been charged in the shooting, the incident remains under investigation.
