The University of Northern Iowa volleyball squad used a balanced and efficient offensive attack to score a 3-0 win over the Evansville Purple Aces on Saturday. UNI won by set scores of 25-12, 25-14 and 25-14.

UNI (17-9, 11-3 MVC) tallied a .367 hitting percentage in the match. UNI was led by Kinsey Caldwell's 31 assists and eight kills. Kayla Haneline and Eryca Hingtgen tied for team-high honors with nine kills. Amie Held posted a team-best 20 digs.

Evansville fell to 8-19 overall and 3-11 in the MVC.

UNI will be back in action at home in the McLeod Center this Friday and Saturday. UNI will take on MVC-leading Illinois State on Friday at 7 p.m. The Panthers will then matchup against Indiana State on Saturday at 7 p.m.
