Illinois State scored all 21 points in the first half including the first two touchdowns of the game, and that made it difficult for Northern Iowa to catch up.

Michael Malloy helped put the Panthers on the scoreboard when he caught a 45-yard pass from Aaron Bailey to the endzone. Former Waterloo Columbus Catholic alum Michael Schmadeke added two field goals.

Quarterback Aaron Bailey (Junior) finished the game 7-17 for 108 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions. Sawyer Kollmorgen went 5-14 for 38 yards and one interception.

NEXT UP: The Northern Iowa Panthers will travel to Fargo, ND to play North Dakota State on Saturday, October 10, 2015. Kick off is scheduled for 1 p.m.
