One Win and In

A victory during any of three Black Hawks games this week will ensure that Waterloo finishes ahead of the four USHL Western Conference teams currently outside of playoffs position, thereby clinching a postseason berth.  The Hawks begin the week at Young Arena seeking their fourth victory of the season versus the Lincoln Stars.  On the road Friday, Waterloo collides with the Indiana Ice for the first time in 2013/14, then the club travels to meet the Muskegon Lumberjacks Saturday.  The two games are the only ones the Hawks play on the road against those two opponents this winter.  Three-game weeks will become the norm for Waterloo; although the Hawks rank second in the Western standings, their 44 games played are the fewest in the conference.

The Black Hawks are at home Tuesday Night (February 25th) against Lincoln (16-22-7), then hit the road for this weekend with a game against Indiana (30-8-7) Friday night and then head to Michigan to take on Muskegon (20-22-4) Saturday night.
