Motorcyclist Injured In Waterloo Accident

Waterloo police are investigating an accident involving a motorcycle that sent one person to the hospital.

The crash happened in the 3500 block of University Avenue around 9 p.m. Tuesday.

The motorcyclist was initially taken to a Waterloo hospital, but had to be airlifted to University Hospitals in Iowa City. According to authorities, the injuries were not life-threatening.
