Oelwein Woman Arrested For Black Hawk County Charges

An Oelwein woman, wanted on a warrant from Black Hawk County for several charges, was arrested by Oelwein olice early Tuesday morning (Sept. 25, 2018).

Oelwein police officers took Desarae Harris, 21, into custody in the 1300 block of W. Charles St. around 1 AM.

Harris was wanted in Black Hawk County, on charges of third-degree burglary, harassment, assault causing injury, criminal mischief and interference with official acts.

No other information was released on the origin of the charges that were filed.
