The No. 5 (d3football.com) Wartburg Knights grabbed a road win thumping the Simpson Storm, 41-10 on November 8, 2014. Wartburg quarterback Logan Schrader tied a single-game school record for the second time this season.

The win pushes Wartburg to 9-0 overall on the season and 6-0 in Iowa Conference play.

After the first quarter, the game was tied at seven.  Then the Wartburg Knights rattled of 34 unanswered points to take control of the game.  By the end of the contest, Wartburg tallied 547 of total offense.

Junior Logan Schrader (Killdeer, Ill.) tied the single-game school record for the second time this season as he had five touchdown passes. Schrader accomplished this feat earlier this year against UW-Stout on Sept. 20.  Schrader finished 24-35-0 for 376 yards.

Junior Brandon Domeyer (Manchester) led the team on the ground with 73 yards as he surpassed 2,000 for his career.

Jacobsmeier led all receivers with 89 yards on six catches.

Junior Gunner Tranel (Vinton) led the defense with 11 total tackles (six solo and five assists). He also had a team-best two tackles for a loss of 11 yards.

The Knights conclude the regular season when they host Loras next Saturday at 1 p.m. in the annual Senior Day.
