A Sumner woman has been arrested on numerous theft charges.

On Thursday, deputies from the Bremer County Sheriff's office took 34 year old Mindy Jo Riley into custody, following a 3 month investigation, that began in June.

A Bremer County resident told authorities about possible thefts that involved money and financial documents. The alleged thefts happened from November of 2012 through November of 2013.

Following the investigation, Riley was arrested on 7 counts of second degree theft, 8 counts of first degree theft, and 15 counts of forgery.

Riley was released from jail pending her next court appearance, after posting a $25,000 bond.
