A Northeast Iowa school superintendent is one of the finalists for the head administrator job in Mt. Pleasant.

The Mt. Pleasant School Board has announced that the three finalists to be interviewed for the post include Chad Garber, the current superintendent at Wapsie Valley Schools in Fairbank.

The other two are John Henriksen, the superintendent at Central Lee who is also a former Mt. Pleasant administrator, and Christopher Anderson, the superintendent at Monticello Schools.

Interviews for the three candidates will be held later this month, with the position to be filled shortly after.

The new Mt. Pleasant superintendent will receive a salary of about $170,000.
