The Northeast Iowa Food Bank has moved their Empty Bowls event to a two-week online silent auction, due to COVID-19 concerns.

The event begins on Friday, March 27 and ends on Friday, April 10. The NE IA Food Bank encourage you to participate by creating an account on their auctioning platform. Go to EmptyBowls.live/signup to sign-up and become a mobile bidder during this Empty Bowls two-week silent auction.

Then join them on their Facebook Event page starting March 27th as they kick off the event and raise awareness surrounding the needs of those around us during this tough time.

Auction items include electronics, artwork, jewelry, sports memorabilia, event tickets and several gift certificates.

This two-week silent auction will be critical for the Food Bank, as the Empty Bowls event typically provides funds that can supply up to 120,000 meals for those suffering from hunger in Northeast Iowa.
