“This is where we need the community’s support,” said Jim Ellis, MWD button chair. “My Waterloo Days is a volunteer organization and the button sales help us with the expenses of putting on a four-day, community festival.”

Community groups and organizations are invited to participate as food vendors, with art demonstrations/sales, or with performance/activities for children. Go to the website, www.mywaterloodays.org and click on People in the Park and then Become a Participant to fill out a form.
“Make sure to watch for more updates next week! We will be opening up our volunteer sign-up as well as online registrations for the bike races and disc golf tournament,” said Tracey Southall, MWD executive committee member.
