My Waterloo Days Runs June 10-14

The annual My Waterloo Days celebration runs June 10-14, 2015. A laser light show, hot air balloon rallies, food, drink, live music, and more all headline this year's line-up of activities.

The four-day festival begins Thursday, June 11 with the famous "People in the Park" at Lincoln Park. The Waterloo Bucks will also have a special $1 off admission deal with your MWD Button on Thursday night.

At 6:00 AM, a hot air balloon rally kicks of the Friday list of events at Byrnes Park with several others planned throughout the weekend. Day two of People in the Park starts at 11:30 AM in Lincoln Park. There is a kid's activity zone running from 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM in Lincoln Park. The MWD Parade gets rolling at 6:30 in downtown Waterloo.

On Saturday morning, there will be the MWD Kid's Bike Races, the MWD Bubble Soccer Tournament, a youth 3-on-3 basketball tournament, and a bags tournament. The MWD Talent Competition and free swim at Byrnes Park highlight the afternoon activities. The Dennis Wayne Gang, Sushi Roll Band, and a laser light show are planned for Saturday night.

The Waterloo Waterhawks Ski Team will close the four-day celebration with a Sunday 6:00 PM show followed by the band Guilty Pleasure.
