Grundy County authorities are investigating a two-vehicle accident that injured a motorcyclist Wednesday evening (Oct. 21, 2015).

The crash occurred shortly after 9 p.m. at the U.S. Highway 20 interchange with Iowa Highway 14, approximately seven miles north of Grundy Center.

Keith Murra, 48, was taken to a Waterloo hospital for treatment following the mishap. Murra was injured when the motorcycle he was driving collided with a Jeep Wrangler, driven by Melissa Oltman, 55, also of Grundy Center.

According to sheriff's officials, Oltman pulled into the path of Murra's northbound motorcycle while attempting a left turn onto Highway 14 (N Ave.) from the westbound Highway 20 off-ramp. Oltman told authorities she didn't the motorcycle, sheriff's officials said.

The extent of Murra's injuries or his condition weren't released.
