Missing Allison Teenager Found Safe In Minnesota

The search for a missing Butler County teenager has ended with a call that he has been found safe in Minnesota.

Ethan Weitzenkamp, 17, has been missing for more than week. His mother, Jamie Weitzenkamp, confirmed the news that her son was found safe in the Twin Cities area with a Facebook post early Saturday morning (Dec. 5, 2015).

In her post, Jamie Wietzenkamp wrote: "ETHAN IS FOUND SAFE!!!!!!! I'm so happy to say we received a call late last night that Ethan was found safe in St. Paul, MN. We are on our way home with him now. THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!"

Word of Ethan Weitzenkamp's whereabouts comes after his name was listed on the Iowa Missing Person’s Clearinghouse.

Relatives have been searching for Ethan since early Thanksgiving morning, when he was last seen by family members getting ready for bed at his home. The next morning (Friday), Weitzenkamp and his car were gone with no word where he went.
