Plans are moving forward to establish a new medical facility in the city of Oelwein.

A local group, the Oelwein Community Healthcare Foundation, has scheduled an informational presentation tonight (Wednesday, April 26) to show the public plans, a timeline, and fundraising campaign for the proposed facility, plus answer questions.

The estimated cost of such a center is just over $6 million, with construction to begin in August of this year.

The one-hour meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. and is open to the public. It will be held in the Oelwein Middle School Auditorium.
