A Northeast Iowa man, wanted on a sex offender registry violation, has been taken into custody.
Last Thursday, the Fayette County Sheriff requested the public's help in locating 49 year old Martin Zuke of Oran. Authorities determined that Zuke, who is currently on the state sex offender registry, had not been living at his registered address for over 3 weeks. A warrant was then issued for his arrest.

On Friday, the sheriff announced that Zuke had been arrested by the Black Hawk County Sheriff on the Fayette County warrant for violation of the sex offender registry.

Zuke is being held in the Fayette County jail in West Union, on $5,000 bond.

Sheriff Marty Fisher extends his thanks to those who assisted in helping locate Zuke.
