An Oelwein woman has been arrested on outstanding warrants concerning weapons, methamphetamine, and theft.

Oelwein Police took Amanda Carson, 37, into custody following an incident in the 1300 block of S. Frederick Ave. Thursday afternoon (Aug. 2, 2018). She was wanted on a Black Hawk County warrant for carrying weapons and first-offense possession of methamphetamine.

According to court records, Carson also had two Buchanan County warrants for violation of pretrial release, fifth-degree theft, interference with official acts, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
