Local Man Arrested on Drug Charges and Warrants

Oelwein Police have arrested a local man on 2 warrants, plus several illegal drug-related charges.
Just before 11pm Wednesday (Oct. 5), an Oelwein Police officer was interacting with 33 year old Kelly Lohrer of Oelwein, while in the 1300 block of West Charles.

After the officer did a background investigation, he arrested Lohrer on 2 Fayette County Warrants for original charges of Controlled Substance violations.

Lohrer was also charged with Unlawful Possession of Prescription Drugs, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Driving While his License is Suspended, and 2 counts of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

According to the Oelwein Police Department, more charges are pending.
