Legendary Classic Rockers Coming to Iowa State Fair

These 2 great bands combine for ten Top 10 hits and nearly 100 million in album sales...and will take the stage in Des Moines this August!

On these cold winter days, you can only dream of hot summer nights, but it's not too early to start thinking about the Iowa State Fair. As of this writing, it's only 169 days away!

One of the most popular classic rock bands in the world 'Foreigner' will perform at the Iowa State Fair Thursday, August 15th at 8 p.m. This show will have you singing along from start to finish thanks to a seemingly endless list of hits like "Juke Box Hero," "Cold As Ice," "Hot Blooded,"  "Feels Like The First Time," "Urgent," "Head Games," and so many more.

The opening act for the show is 'Night Ranger.' Best known for their 1984 hit "Sister Christian,"  "Don't Tell Me You Love Me" and "(You Can Still) Rock In America", the band has toured the country for decades. Tickets for 'Foreigner' and 'Night Ranger' go on sale this Thursday, February 21st at 10 a.m. CLICK HERE. Tickets are $27 to $42.

The Iowa State Fair has now announced nine grandstand shows. Only Friday, August 9th and Monday, August 12th remain as open dates in their schedule.
