How do you truly keep that flame burning when you're in a long-term relationship? It can be difficult after you have spent so much time with one person.

Well, to be truthful, I'm REALLY bad at this and have been known to take for granted the women I've had long term relationships with. Maybe that's why I'm twice divorced. To be fair to me though, love and relationships are  two way streets between two vehicles that need totally different fuel to keep running. So, I dove head first into the internet and found a few things that may help you AND me continue to develop passionate relationships.

  1. Always, always kiss your significant hello. Yes, "Kiss Me Goodnight" is very important, but a great way to begin a positive evening with your lover, is to kiss them hello.
  2. Take each other on "Surprise Dates". I've never done this and my relationships have failed. Is this the key to long-term happiness? Probably not, but it means you're thinking of the other, even when they're not around and you will spend copious amounts of time planning for that very special person.
  3. Have more Sex. Yep, guys will rejoice in this and women will roll their eyes. Seriously, you can't get any closer to someone than when you're having sex. Once in a while, throw your partner a bone...no pun intended...if you're not in the mood. You never know, the "right" button my be pushed to send you over the edge.  You may regret  it if you don't. It's just good for your mental, emotional and physical body.
