Kastli started on the second row outside for the Budweiser IMCA Late Model feature, but he was able to work his way into the lead before the first lap was completed. The “Gentleman Racer” opened up a commanding lead. Sean Johnson fought his way through the top five to sit second, but he himself a straightaway behind Kastli.

In the closing laps Kastli, was trying to work through lapped traffic that raced two and three wide in front of him. Johnson was able to close in, but Kastli would take the win by five car lengths. Johnson settled for second. Ben Seeman ran in the top three during the entire 25-lap A-Main and came home third. Tyler Droste started tenth and finished fourth. Ninth place starter Rick Wendling rounded out the top five.

Ronn Lauritzen started ninth for the Performance Bodies IMCA Modified A-Main. Lauritzen worked the bottom line to motor through the field to challenge early race leader Josh Sherbon on lap four. “Uncle Ronn Boy” moved to the lead to complete lap five, and he would race off to the win. Sherbon followed him across the line for second.

The rest of the top five saw plenty of cars that had to work hard to fight through the pack. Troy Cordes started eleventh and was scored third. Tenth place starter Vern Jackson finished fourth. The hardcharger of the night award went to JD Auringer who started twenty-second to round out the top five.
