Is It Classic Rock – 1990

We've been giving you options of what  you think Classic Rock is. Throwing to great rock tunes at you that made it in the top 10 on the charts. Typically, they've been on the fence of what we all may consider Classic Rock. Today, we refocus on 1990.

Damn Yankees were considered a supergroup. A combo of members of different bands. The band consisted of  Tommy Shaw of Styx, Jack Blades of Night Ranger, Ted Nugent of The Amboy Dukes and a successful solo career, and Michael Cartellone. Cartellone would later join Lynyrd Skynyrd. They had a great and short career and pounded out some rock hits.

Today, we focus on Damn Yankees tune "Coming of Age". It hit #1 on the Rock Charts in 1990 and was the 2nd single released off of their self-titled album.
