The University of Iowa wrestling program opens the regular season with three consecutive home events beginning Nov. 21, and closes the regular season hosting two rounds of the Cliff Keen National Duals on Feb. 15 and 22.

Iowa, the national attendance leader in each of the last eight seasons, hosts Baker University, Cornell College, and Iowa Central CC on Friday, Nov. 21 on Mediacom Mat inside Carver-Hawkeye Arena.

One week later the Iowa Corn Cy-Hawk Series continues with a 7 p.m. dual at Carver-Hawkeye Arena on Friday, Nov. 28 -- the same day Iowa football hosts Nebraska in the Hy-Vee Heroes Game.

Iowa opens the Big Ten season at home against Michigan State on Dec. 6. The Hawkeyes’ other conference home dates include Illinois (Jan. 16), Northwestern (Jan. 23) and Michigan (Feb. 13).

On Feb. 15, the Cliff Keen National Duals return to Carver-Hawkeye Arena for the first time since 1999. Iowa hosts one regional dual Sunday, Feb. 15 against an opponent yet to be determined. The 16-team field will then be trimmed to eight schools for quarterfinal, semifinal, and final round competition at Carver-Hawkeye Arena on Sunday, Feb. 22.

Iowa’s road schedule includes five Big Ten duals, a trip to Oklahoma State on Jan. 11, and the 52nd annual Midlands Championships on Dec. 29-30.

The Hawkeyes visit Rutgers for the first time in school history Friday, Jan. 2. Iowa is 1-0 all-time against the Scarlet Knights, winning 33-9 on neutral ground in 2009. The Hawkeyes travel to Maryland on Sunday, Feb. 8 for the first time since 1972, a 25-6 Iowa win. Iowa is 2-0 all-time against the Terrapins, including a 34-6 neutral site win in 2009.

Iowa’s remaining Big Ten dual schedule includes a Jan. 4 date at Ohio State, and consecutive road duals at Minnesota (Feb. 1) and Penn State (Feb. 6).

Ohio State hosts the Big Ten Championships on March 7-8, and the NCAA Championships will be contested March 19-21 in St. Louis.

SCHEDULE NOTES: All start times and broadcast information will be announced at a later date… Iowa is wrestling a nine-dual conference schedule for the first time in school history… Carver-Hawkeye Arena is hosting the National Duals for the third time (1998, 1999).
