Iowa High School Volleyball Rankings (9/11/14)

Sixteen Northeast Iowa high school volleyball programs made the latest volleyball rankings of the season released by the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union on Thursday (September 11, 2014).

Volleyball powerhouse Dike-New Hartford continues to hold the top spot in Class 2A. They carry a 3-1 record after three weeks of play in Iowa high school volleyball competition. Grundy Center, Sumner-Fredricksburg, and Wapsie Valley also made the top ten.

Janesville’s 4-1 record keeps them at number two in the Class 1A rankings. Tripoli and Don Bosco sit in the Class 1A top ten.

In Class 3A, Independence moved up one top to number three. The Mustangs have improved to 6-1 on the year. Union Community (LaPorte City) also moved up one spot to sit tenth.

West Delaware remains perfect on the year at 10-0, but was not able to improve on its second place ranking from a week ago. Charles City has blasted out of the gates to earn a 12-2 record and a top ten ranking.
