Iowa Contestant to Appear on CBS Survivor: Cagayan (Video)

When CBS Survivor returns for its 28th season, Iowa's Sarah Lacina will be one of the 18 competitors. This time, the contestants will duke it out in Cgayan, a province in the Philippines. The season's theme sure is an interesting one: Brains vs. Brawn vs. Beauty!

Originally from Muscatine, Lacina now calls Cedar Rapids home. The 29-year old makes a living as a police officer. It's that career background that she feels will give her an advantage.

I interview people on a daily basis and get confessions.  I'm very strategic and determined. I have the brains and skills to dominate this game.”

Her boxing background couldn't hurt either.  Lacina has even fought in a couple of local MMA fights.

Brains vs. Brawn vs. Beauty!

It's basically high school all over again, with the brainiacs battling the jocks and the beauty queens. In this season's crop, we've got the President of the Miami Marlins, a former Miss Teen USA, a pro poker player all competing for the title of sole survivor.
