I-380 Accident Injures One

Earlier today (2/25/15) the Black Hawk County Sheriff's Department was dispatched to an accident with injuries on I-380.  According to the report, a 2002 Honda Civic driven by 19 year old Evan Wheeler of Dunkerton, was heading south and slowed down due to white out conditions. Another vehicle behind Wheeler, driven by 29 year old Jessica Rundle of Jesup, was impaired by the white out conditions as well and ran into Wheeler's vehicle.

Wheeler was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Rundle was uninjured in the accident.

The accident remains under investigation.
