A Northeast Iowa woman has been injured after her van collided with an anhydrous tank being pulled by a truck on Highway 20.
The accident happened just before 9am Monday (Nov. 14) on Highway 20, a mile east of Dyersville.

A van driven by 24 year old Monica Cooey of Delhi was eastbound on 20, when she struck the back of the anhydrous tank and trailer, being towed by a truck driven by 57 year old Charles Melchert of Hopkinton.

Cooey was injured; she was taken by ambulance to the Manchester hospital. Melchert was not hurt.

The accident was investigated by the Iowa State Patrol, with assistance from the Dubuque County Sheriff, Dyersville Police, Dyersville Fire and Rescue, and Dubuque Fire and Rescue Hazmat.
