If only their play-calling had been this imaginative.

A lacrosse game between club teams at the University of Dayton and Western Michigan University was tied when it was called off due to lightning last weekend. We all know a tie is like kissing your sister, though, so the teams did the only logical thing they could: they agreed to let the winner be decided by a best-of-three rock, paper, scissors matchup.

After WMU pulled out the strange victory, the players jumped around like they had won whatever title it is lacrosse players dream about winning.

We think this should start a trend. Weather gets too cold in the MLB playoffs? Rock, paper, scissors. Want NFL players to avoid concussions? Rock, paper, scissors. It can even go beyond sports, too. Trump or Clinton for the presidency? Forget voting and just let them duke it out with rock, paper, scissors.
