A hearing for Arlington farmer and television celebrity Chris Soules scheduled for Wednesday afternoon has been cancelled.

Soules, 36, is charged with leaving the scene of a fatal accident in Buchanan County. The accident happened in April of 2017, when a truck driven by Soules rear-ended a tractor driven by Kenneth Mosher, 66, of Aurora. Mosher died of his injuries.

Soules had been seeking to have his trial moved out of Buchanan County because of pretrial publicity. His attorneys had also filed a motion to adjudicate law points.

A hearing on those motions was scheduled for Wednesday, however Soules has withdrawn the motions.

The trial for Soules, who had gained fame for his tv appearances on ABC's "The Bachelor" and "Dancing with The Stars", is set for Nov. 7, 2018, in Buchanan County District Court in Independence.
