A Waterloo man suffered multiple injuries in a car-motorcycle accident in Grundy County Wednesday afternoon (Aug. 10, 2016).

Sheriff's officials said Jeffrey Cosby, 49, was transported to a Waterloo hospital for treatment after his Harley-Davidson was struck by a car. The other driver, Jeffrey Hall, 49, of Grundy Center, escaped injured.

The crash occurred just before 4:30 p.m. at the intersection of County Roads D-19 (160th St.) and T-65 (X Ave.), about three miles east of Dike. According to sheriff's officials, Cosby was eastbound on D-19 and slowed to make a turn onto T-65. That's when Hall's vehicle struck the back of the motorcycle.

The accident remains under investigation by Grundy County sheriff's officials.
