Fundraiser For Hudson School Planned At Bill Colwell Ford

Bill Colwell Ford will host their 8th Annual Drive 4 UR School event on Monday, September 19th, from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM at their dealership in Hudson, IA.

The Drive 4 UR School program started in 2007 and is a fun, engaging way to help schools raise money to support their sports and extracurricular activities.

Ford and Ford Dealerships, like Bill Colwell Ford, partner with a local high school to conduct a test-drive fundraising event. For every valid test-drive completed, Ford Motor Company will donate $20 to the participating high school, up to $6,000. So, the more people who test-drive a Ford vehicle at the event, the more money can be raised.

Since 2009, Bill Colwell Ford has been able to raise $45,220 for the Hudson Athletic Boosters. The Hudson Athletic Booster Club is committed to supporting the uniform replacement for the Student Athletes. In addition, the Booster Club supports equipment and facility upgrades as deemed necessary by the Board or as requested by the Coaching Staff.
