It was a very busy 8 hours for deputies in Fayette County on Tuesday (Jan. 10, 2017).

Because of the freezing rain and snow, officers responded to numerous vehicles in the ditches throughout the county between the hours of 6 a.m. and 2 p.m. Only minor damage was done, and no injuries were reported.

One of the accidents involved three vehicles, including one owned by an area television station.
