Four Waterloo juveniles are facing charges connected to an attempted convenience store hold-up in Evansdale earlier this year.

The incident occurred at Pronto Mart on Lafayette Road on March 3rd, 2014. Evansdale police say a group of suspects walked into the business, displayed a weapon and demanded money. They fled the convenience store without obtaining anything of value.

Following an investigation, Evansdale police have charged four Waterloo juveniles with second-degree robbery in connection with the crime. Officials say Jose Nunez-Cardono, 17; Nathan Stangeland, 17; Kenyon Brandt, 17; and Iziek Brandt, 16, are all charged as adults. They were booked into the Black Hawk County jail on different dates.
