Four Recovering From Weekend Crash

Fayette County sheriff's officials continue to investigate a two-vehicle accident that sent four people to the hospital over the weekend.

Authorities said vehicles driven by Timothy West, 56, of Strawberry Point, and Michael Baker, 52, of Earlville, collided at an uncontrolled rural intersection south of Arlington around 12:30 PM on Saturday (Sept. 29, 2018). The location of the crash was "B" Ave. and 20th St., in the far southeast corner of the county.

Both drivers, and a passenger in each vehicle, were taken by ambulance to an area hospital for treatment.

Investigators are still trying to figure out how the accident occurred. Sheriff's officials said charges are pending.
