Four Area Teams Featured In High School Boys Basketball Poll

Four area teams are ranked in this week's Associated Press Iowa high school boys basketball poll, released on Monday, February 10, 2014. Waverly-Shell Rock is rated third in Class-3A and New Hampton is second in Class-2A. Dunkerton is rated fifth in Class-1A, followed by Gladbrook-Reinbeck seventh. The four teams have a combined record of 69-6. Jesup is among the teams being considered for the Class-1A rankings. If the poll extended beyond 10 teams, the J-Hawks would be ranked 19th this week.
