Firefighters Save Cat

Recently, the Ames Fire Department's Truck 3 responded to a house fire where they pulled a cat from the burning building. As you can see from the clip above, which was posted by the Ames Fire Department on Facebook, the crew from Truck 3 saved a cat's life.

When Cleo the Cat was pulled from the building she was unresponsive and not breathing. Lucking for Cleo and her owner, the Ames Fire Department carries specialize equipment for just these incidents. According to the Fire Chief, 'Pets are family too' and that's why these firefighters spent about 30 minutes reviving this rescued pet.

We're high-fiving the Ames Fire Department and Truck 3 for not just risking their lives, but understanding the bond between a pet and the owner.
