Authorities are now looking for the origin of an overnight fire that destroyed a downtown Frederika business.

According to the Bremer County sheriff's office, the Frederika Fire Department was called out at about 2am Wednesday, July 30, 2014, to a fire at the Bottomz Up Bar and Grill, on 3rd street in Frederika.

The building was soon fully engulfed; no one was in the building at the time, and no injuries have been reported.

The Frederika Fire department was assisted by the fire departments of Tripoli, Plainfield, Sumner, Fredericksburg, New Hampton and Tripoli EMS, plus the Bremer County Sheriff, Bremer County Emergency Management, and Smith Excavating.

Authorities will be sifting through the rubble, looking for an exact cause.
