Friday (August 14, 2015) nights racing action was a night of firsts at the Farley Speedway.

The Klein Custom Homes IMCA Late Model feature was a classic between Jeff Tharp and Tyler Bruehning. Tharp ran the high side to perfection in holding off the constant challenges of defending track Champion Bruehning. The track was very fast and Tharp held his line to perfection in scoring his first win of the 2015 season at the Farley Speedway. Bruehning ran second ahead of Joel Callahan.

The Precision Performance IMCA Modified feature saw another great battle that included a three car tussle for the lead for the majority of the 20 lapper. Rod McDonald drove a perfect race in scoring his first ever win in an A Modified. McDonald was challenged for the majority of the race by Mark Schulte, the two leaders raced wheel to wheel lap after lap before McDonald was able to take the checkers a car length ahead of Schulte.

Austin Heacock scored the win in the GSI Collision Specialists IMCA Sportmods on Friday night. Heacocok advanced from a sixth position start to take the lead near the midway point of the race and went on to take the win ahead of Jason Doyle.

Jerry Miles added another trophy to his collection after topping the 15 lap IMCA Stock Car feature. Miles took the checkers ahead of Phil Holtz.

Quinton Miller padded his lead in the IMCA Hobby Stock division with another win on Friday night. Brett Vanous crossed the finish line in second.

The 2 man cruisers were back in action on Friday night and delighted the fans with a very entertaining race. The team of Corey Rupp and Corey Davis took the 15 lap feature win by holding of the team of Bolsinger and Reimer.

Racing will continue at the Farley Speedway on Friday, August 21st , hot laps will take the green at 7 pm with racing to follow.
