We complain in the summer that it's too hot, but come winter, there's nothing like a good complaint about the cold and snow. We're about to get our first significant snowfall of the year and yes, you can expect some snow AND a bunch of people behind the wheel of a vehicle who forgot that winter happens here....EVERY YEAR

We are under a Winter Storm Watch for most of the day Friday (11/20/15) and could see up to 10" of snow, according to the CBS2 First Warning Forecast.

My biggest pet peeve is the people who, somehow, failed to realize that they've driven in this kind of weather before. You know the people. The ones who go 30 mph in a 60 mph zone, even though the road is clear and dry. Put a little snow into the mix and you got yourself a bucketful of rookies on the road.

So, as a public service to everyone in the Cedar Valley, here are some good winter driving tips. The dude even tells you how to properly defrost  your windows. Another pet peeve...not clearing those clear things on your car that you see through. They are called windows and they are key to making sure you know where you're going.
