The Waterloo Police Department and Allen Child Protection Center are hosting 'The Cedar Valley Family Safety Expo' on April 20th from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cedar Valley SportsPlex.
Over a dozen agencies in the Cedar Valley will be on hand to give out information on how to keep our kids and families safe, and how we can support those in our community that have been victims of crime.
The Expo will be free to the public. There will be giveaways, food, and the chance to check out the SportsPlex, play soccer, basketball, or try the indoor kids’ play area.
Drew and Heather Collins will be the honored guests, speaking at the kickoff in the courtyard. Waterloo PD will also distribute Child ID kits (along with photographs) to parents to help keep their children safe.
