Benefit To Be Held For Former Waterloo Minor League Baseball Player

The public is invited to a benefit for former Waterloo minor league baseball player Claudio Carrasco. Claudeio suffered a stroke on December 4th and was airlifted to Iowa City.
Clausio played baseball for the Waterloo Indians in the 80's and then settled in Waterloo playing softball for various local teams. He also coached and helped out with softball and baseball at West High and little league baseball.
A benefit will be held for Claudio on February 13th from 12 PM till 9 PM at Lofty's Lounge in Evansdale. There will be food, DJ, baked goods and a silent auction.
Donations can be dropped off at Lofty's and Platinum Pests. All proceeds will go towards medical expenses.
