Authorities are looking for the cause of a fire that damaged a Habitat Humanity home in Evansdale.

Firefighters were called out shortly after 7am today (Thursday) to the 700 block of Jordan Drive in Evansdale, a house still under construction.

Employees at an area business witnessed smoke coming out the roof of the partially-built home, and called authorities.

The Evansdale Fire Department arrived to find a fire in the attic. No one was in the home, and there were apparently no injuries.

The origin of the blaze is still being investigated.
