Dunkerton, Iowa's Troy Cordes was at a loss for words and was shaking from excitement after scoring his biggest win of his racing career. On Thursday, July 3, 2014 Cordes scored a $10,000 payday during Farley Speedway's 2nd annual Aftermarket Nationals.

The 2nd Annual Aftermarket Nationals brought 55 of the Midwest's very best drivers in the IMCA Modified class to Farley.. Each battled for their share of the $50,000 purse.

The two day show saw Cordes score the most passing points on Wednesday night's qualifying sessions. A fast dash win on Thursday night put Cordes on the pole for the 50 lap feature.

Cordes ran second to Benji Lacrosse of Green Bay, WI for the early laps. Around lap 10, Cordes worked his Rage Chassis past LaCrosse for the lead. He raced off to the Aftermarket Nationals win.

The Sportmods were also part of the Aftermarket Nationals and a stellar field of 31 drivers took part in the 2 day show. When the checkered flag fell following the 30 lap main it was Dubuque's Austin Moyer in victory lane celebrating his $2,000 win. Doug Nigh drove a car for the Kay family and ran second ahead of Janae Gustin of Marshalltown, Iowa.
