Drug Arrests Made in Oelwein

An Oelwein man has been arrested on illegal drug and other charges.
Just before 10am Monday (April 4) Oelwein police arrested 44 year old Randall Meike on charges of possession of methamphetamine-over 5 grams, a drug tax stamp violation, driving while his license is suspended and interference with official acts.

The arrest was made during a traffic stop in the 200 block of 5th Avenue SW.

Oelwein Police have arrested a Colorado man, after following up on a report of a suspicious odor.

At about 10pm Thursday (March 31st), 31 year old Robert Frye of Loveland, Colorado was taken into custody in the 200 block of 10th Street SE on charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
