The Cedar Falls Tigers dominated the Linn-Mar Lions during the 2017 Iowa High School Volleyball State Tournament. The Tigers' 3-0 win puts them into the championship match.

Number one seeded Cedar Falls Tigers (42-2) demonstrated why they were award the spot as they eliminated the Linn-Mar Lions (31-11) in three games (25-13, 25-18, 25-15). The Tigers have been on fire by not losing a set since September 23, 2017.

Linn-Mar was able to match Cedar Falls point-for-point during the first half of each set, but the Tigers came to life after that, and they walked away with each set win during the match.

Cynthia Wolf led the Cedar Falls attack with 10 kills. Akacia Brown added nine kills. Tayah Mahi delivered 29 assists, and Majda Suljic had 11 digs and Abby Hendrickson had 10 digs.

Cedar Falls begins the final leg of the 207 Iowa High School Volleyball State Tournament championship Friday (Nov. 10) at 10:00 AM at the US Cellular Center in Cedar Rapids. Standing in their way of a state title is West Des Moines Dowling (41-7).
