Here are the 2017 Iowa High School Girls State Basketball Tournament Class 4A pairings and results.

Class 4A quarterfinal games will be played on Tuesday, Feb. 28 and Wednesday, March 1. The winners advance to the state semifinals on Friday, March 3. The 4A championship game is scheduled for Saturday, March 5 at 6:00 p.m.

Teams that qualified for the 2017 state tournament: Boone, Cedar Rapids Xavier, Grinnell, Lewis Central, Marion, Nevada, North Scott and Pella.

Defending state champion Mason City failed to qualify for the 2017 state tournament, so there will be a new champion crowned in Class 4A. The eight-team field includes four returning qualifiers: Lewis Central, Marion, Nevada and Pella. Nevada was the 3A runner-up in 2016.
