Fun fact: you never hear about cruise ships unless something goes horribly wrong.

Consider this "horribly wrong."

Royal Caribbean's Anthem of the Seas ship had to head back to New Jersey after four passengers sustained minor injuries Sunday when the vessel sailed right into a storm near Cape Hatteras, N.C.

The boat was on the way to Florida when it ran smack into winds with hurricane strength (read: 100 miles per hour).

A rep from the Coast Guard said the ship appeared to be fine:

After seeing pictures and people’s comments on Twitter and other social media platforms, the U.S. Coast Guard contacted the Royal Caribbean’s Anthem of the Seas to check in. The ship said that everything was fine, and no distress calls have been issued. The ship was caught in the storm off the shore of Charleston. There are 40 plus knot winds and large swells. The USCG will continue to monitor the situation."

The ship itself endured damage and social media proved this was no trace amount of irrigation, either. Check out some of the crazy images that will convince the only ship you should ever go on is a rerun of The Love Boat. Seriously. Look at the photo of the lounge. Isaac would've had a coronary if that happened in one of the nine bars where he served drinks.
