Jordan Lynch ended his college career at the University of Northern Illinois as a 2013 Heisman Trophy finalist.  In 2014, he will begin his professional career with the Chicago Bears.

Lynch had an outstanding college career as NIU's quarterback, but he went undrafted in the 2014 draft this past weekend. Lynch threw for 2,892 yards and 24 touchdowns, and running for another 1,920 yards and 23 touchdowns. The Bears saw an opportunity, and they signed Lynch to a rookie free-agent contract.

NFL.com states that his official position is still up in the air. CBSsports.com the Chicago Tribune both report that Lynch was signed to compete for a running back position.

Lynch started two years for NIU, and he led the Huskies to a 24-4 overall record. He finished his college career with 6,209 passing yards, 51 touchdown passes and 14 interceptions. Lynch also rushed for 4,343 yards and 48 touchdowns.
